Keith Tucker, with Acacia Travel, and now author of the new book,
"Tales/Tails of Africa ", has been to 16 African nations in his 47 trips to Africa leading small safari groups. He says that the main reason he favors Kenya as his favorite is, it is that it is the only country he knows of that has 3 completely different eco-systems, the cloud forest, the arid semi-desert north, and the rolling plains of north Serengeti, the Maasai Mara. And, in each eco-zone one finds many species quite different from the other two areas, species of animals, birds and plants. So, in one country you can experience a larger variety of species as well as animals in numbers, such as the famous Great Migration.
HIGHLIGHTS/FEATURESWe are there during the famous Great Migration of 1.5 million wildebeest, 1/2 million zebra and 100 thousand of following antelope, and during that time, the predators are "very happy!!!"
