Acacia Owner Authors a New Book on Africa
A new book on Africa has just been published, by a co-owner of Acacia Travel, Keith Tucker, the escort of 47 groups to Africa in the 38 years he's been leading safaris. He has visited 16 African nations, which adds to his total of about 112 countries in the world. Yet, Africa remains his #1 favorite destination, particularly Eastern and Southern Africa.
The book, titled "Tales/Tails of Africa," is about his many tales he has spun around a camp's campfire when on safari with groups. Some chapters consist of many short quips, some funny, some serious, some 'crazy,' about things travelers to Africa do and say. Some chapters are about a special 'challenging' adventure, or a unique and special experience.
The book is loaded with color photos, some applicable to the 'tales' in the previous chapter, and many of the 'tails' many African species.
The 186 page soft cover book can be ordered at Acacia Travel, or a signed book, from the author, Keith, who can be reached at his new email - KeithAcacia@gmail.com or send a check for $24.75, payable to:
'Tucker Family Press' at
19984 Powers Rd., Bend, OR 97702.
If you wish to visit Africa with Keith, his next safari is to Kenya in Sept. 2010. You can ask him for more information about this tour when you send for the book.
